Motorcycles Tours:

Down roads less travelled, through forest plantations, farms, gravel roads, high mountain routes with spectacular views, we provide unique & exclusive trails to suit easy or technical riding.

The motorcycles tours take place on routes that differ from most in as much as I keep off tar roads with the only exception of crossing a few roads.

I am a route planner for a famous international mountain bike race, with permission to access private & state land and some Cape nature reserves.

As a conservationist and guide I show you areas of the Western Cape few have ever seen. The motorcycle tours take you through some unusual and spectacular scenery much of which is the best & most awesome landscape on earth. The motorcycle tours follow routes which are safe, with minimal usage from other vehicles.

 4x4 Ride, Walk Botanical Tour
This tour is ideal for a day or a half day in the country about an hour from Cape Town. We are situated in the Elgin Grabouw area, half way to Hermanus, so if you are en route to whale watching why not stop off and explore this most beautiful area.

On arrival at the farm we pack drinks, snacks, knapsacks, and any luggage. After an introduction and briefing with the guide, we set off in our canopy covered, open 4x4 rangers.

Botanical Hiking Scenic Tour
The Green mountain eco route is a spectacular mountain fauna and flora biome with many Red data plants and enormous diversity.

This pristine area lies within the Kogelberg biosphere region and forms part of the rarely visited Groenland Mountain range. (Most of the area is restricted to public vehicles). Cape Nature and Nature Discovery Tours are providing nature lovers with a rare opportunity to visit this amazing habitat.

Team Excursions Include:
Nature Discovery’s famous ATV quad bike and 4x4 trail. This is an easy circuit route with spectacular mountain scenery. We visit some historical sites and unusual geological formations, passing through rare Fynbos plant areas.

The route traverses through pine forests, crossing small rivers and along the shores of lakes heading towards the picnic lunch spot. The waterfall offers a peaceful backdrop and if you feel like a refreshing swim you can go into the rock pools. You will be accompanied by an environmental educational guide.

The quad bikes vary in size to suit beginners and the more experienced. They include 150cc machines, fully automatic, 300cc machines, fully automatic, 400cc 4x4 machines, capable of taking passengers. 4 user-friendly motorcycles are also available for motorcyclists. We also have 500cc 4x4 Super Quad rangers that can seat up to 4 passengers comfortably. These can be used should some of the members of your team not wish to ride a quad bike. We can accommodate up to 8 people on the Super Quad rangers in comfort and safety.
