Bayete
is a wonderful veld school, training
opportunity and Africa eco-experience
 for
every visitor.
Quality training, interesting
programmes and exciting activities are presented. All age groups and levels are
accommodated including children, the youth, scholars, students and adults.
Bayete is situated in a game farm in the heart of the Bushveld and in the
foothills of the beautiful Waterberg Mountains.
Bayete is only 1½ to 2 hours traveling time from anywhere in Gauteng along the
N1.
Bayete can accommodate 300 visitors at a time, in three separate camps or
complexes.
The facilities at Bayete are of high standard for the purpose, and comprises
lecture halls, dormitories, mountain huts, a well-equipped kitchen, a swimming
pool, sports fields, an obstacle course, hiking trails and various other
facilities.
 Various
types of camps, training and educational excursions are presented to school
children and students, families, church groups, sportsmen and the business
sector.
Bayete is managed by a qualified manager who is ably assisted by a dynamic,
young and professional team with whom the youth can easily identify and
associate
Accommodation is in the form of basic
dormitories for boys and girls, with sufficient ablution facilities and showers.
Separate flats/mountain huts are available for teachers or guardians. There is
also an interesting Bush camp. Wholesome, good and nutritional meals are
prepared by the catering team at Bayete. No visitor is involved in preparing
meals. The bush camp also allows for self-catering.
The well-being of children and
visitors is a high priority for Bayete and is handled responsibly. Not more is
expected of a child than he would under normal circumstances be able to achieve.
Trained first aid personnel and equipment are available at Bayete. Medical
services and a hospital are a mere 15 minutes away. |
