Breede River 

If you’re looking for a short vacation not too far from home then the Breede River weekend breakaway is the ideal solution.

Situated a mere two hours from Cape Town, this adventure is sure to have you mesmerized by the beauty and tranquility the area has to offer.

We’ll be paddling along this majestic piece of river and stop for a scrumptious lunch before reaching High Africa.

This camp site, which is situated along the river bank, is used when doing overnight trips and has been home to many an adventurer, offering hot water showers and full ablution facilities.

Aquatrails also provides catering which includes our famous fillet steak cooked to perfection over a bed of coals.

So, if you’re an outdoor adventurer who still wants to enjoy some homey comforts then this is the ideal vacation for you. 

Doring River – White water rafting experience

Our Doring river adventure is definitely not for the faint hearted as we’ll be paddling some of the best white water the Cape has to offer. 

This river is at its best after the winter rains as it is dependant on the winter rainfall to provide thrilling rapids and fast channels.

Our season runs from early June till late September which may be extended depending on the winter rainfall.

Dynamic is definitely the only way to describe this river as it carves its way through the rugged Swartruggens & Cedarberg mountains on it’s way to joining the Oliphants River. 

Take up the challenge while enjoying the beauty and splendor of this pristine environment with it’s perfectly preserved Bushman/San Rock paintings.

Orange River 

The sunsets, the fires crackles, the stars ignite the sky.
